Surah Al-Baqarah — Verse 15

ٱللَّهُ يَسْتَهْزِئُ بِهِمْ وَيَمُدُّهُمْ فِى طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

Allahu yastahzi-o bihim wayamudduhumfee tughyanihim yaAAmahoon

Translations of this verse 7

[But] Allāh mocks them and prolongs them in their transgression [while] they wander blindly.

God is mocking them, and allowing them more slack to wander blindly in their insolence.

Allah (Himself) doth mock them, leaving them to wander blindly on in their contumacy.

Allah will throw back their mockery on them, and give them rope in their trespasses; so they will wander like blind ones (To and fro).

It is Allah who mocks at them, and lets them go on wandering blindly in their rebellion.

Allâh mocks at them and gives them increase in their wrong-doing to wander blindly.

Allah jests with them, leaving them to wander blindly on in their rebellion.
