The Spoils of War · 8:5 · 5/75
كَمَآ أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنۢ بَيْتِكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَكَـٰرِهُونَ
Kama akhrajaka rabbuka min baytika bilhaqqiwa-inna fareeqan mina almu'mineena lakarihoon
Translations of this verse 7
Saheeh International
[It is] just as when your Lord brought you out of your home [for the battle of Badr] in truth, while indeed, a party among the believers were unwilling,

For it was your Lord who made you [Prophet] venture from your home for a true purpose––though a group of the believers disliked it

Even as thy Lord caused thee (Muhammad) to go forth from thy home with the Truth, and lo! a party of the believers were averse (to it).

قال تعالى: {كَمَا أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَيْتِكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَكَارِهُونَ (5)} [الأنفال: 5].
182 - وعن أبي أيوب الأنصاري - رضي الله عنه - قال: قال رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم -: ونحن بالمدينة: "إني أخبرت ونحن بالمدينة عن عمر أبي سفيان أنها مقبلة، فهل لكم أن نخرج قبل هذا العير، لعل الله يغنمناها"، قلنا: نعم، فخرج وخرجنا معه، فلما سرنا يوماً أو يومين، قال لنا: "ما ترون في القوم فإنهم أخبروا بمخرجكم؟ " فقلنا: لا والله ما لنا طاقة بقتال العدو، ولكن أردنا العير، ثم قال: "ما ترون في القوم؟ " فقلنا: مثل ذلك، فقال المقداد بن عمرو: إذاً لا نقول لك يا رسول الله كما قال قوم موسى لموسى: "اذهب أنت وربك فقاتلا إنا هاهنا قاعدون". قال: فتمنينا معشر الأنصار أنا قلنا كما قال المقداد، أحب إلينا من أن يكون لنا مال عظيم، فأنزل الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ على رسوله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - {كَمَا أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَيْتِكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَكَارِهُونَ (5) يُجَادِلُونَكَ فِي الْحَقِّ بَعْدَ مَا تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّمَا يُسَاقُونَ إِلَى الْمَوْتِ وَهُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ (6)} ¬أخرجه البيهقي في الدلائل: 3/ 137، وقال الهيثمي في المجمع: 6/ 73 - 74: رواه الطبراني وإسناده حسن، وزاد السيوطي عزوه في الدر: 3/ 299 لابن جرير وابن أبي حاتم وابن مردويه، وللحديث شواهد كثيرة يتحسن بها.¥.
