Surah Ali 'Imran — Verse 182

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
Thalika bima qaddamataydeekum waanna Allaha laysa bithallaminlilAAabeed
Translations of this verse 7
Saheeh International
That is for what your hands have put forth and because Allāh is not ever unjust to [His] servants."
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
That is on account of what you stored up for yourselves with your own hands: God is never unjust to His servants.’
Marmaduke Pickthall
This is on account of that which your own hands have sent before (you to the judgment). Allah is no oppressor of (His) bondmen.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali
"This is because of the (unrighteous deeds) which your hands sent on before ye: For Allah never harms those who serve Him."
Mufti Taqi Usmani
This is due to what your hands sent ahead and that Allah is not cruel to His servants.”
Al-Hilali & Khan
This is because of that (evil) which your hands have sent before you. And certainly, Allâh is never unjust to (His) slaves.
Abul A'la Maududi (Tafhim)
That is in recompense for what you have done.' Allah does no wrong to His servants.
