Surah Al-Isra — Verse 11

وَيَدْعُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ بِٱلشَّرِّ دُعَآءَهُۥ بِٱلْخَيْرِ ۖ وَكَانَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ عَجُولًا
WayadAAu al-insanu bishsharriduAAaahu bilkhayri wakana al-insanuAAajoola
Translations of this verse 7
Saheeh International
And man supplicates for evil [when angry] as he supplicates for good, and man is ever hasty.

Yet man prays for harm, just as he prays for good: man is ever hasty.

Man prayeth for evil as he prayeth for good; for man was ever hasty.
