Surah Al-Baqarah — Verse 244

وَقَـٰتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

Waqatiloo fee sabeeli AllahiwaAAlamoo anna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleem

Verse recitation

Translations of this verse 7

And fight in the cause of Allāh and know that Allāh is Hearing and Knowing.

Fight in God’s cause and remember that He is all hearing and all knowing.

Fight in the way of Allah, and know that Allah is Hearer, Knower.

Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things.

Fight in the way of Allah, and know that Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

And fight in the Way of Allâh and know that Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

So fight in the Way of Allah and know well that Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
