Surah An-Nahl — Verse 127
The Bee · 16:127 · 127/128
وَٱصْبِرْ وَمَا صَبْرُكَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِ ۚ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُ فِى ضَيْقٍ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ
Wasbir wama sabrukailla billahi wala tahzanAAalayhim wala taku fee dayqin mimmayamkuroon
Translations of this verse 7
Saheeh International
And be patient, [O Muḥammad], and your patience is not but through Allāh. And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress over what they conspire.

So [Prophet] be steadfast: your steadfastness comes only from God. Do not grieve over them; do not be distressed by their scheming,
Marmaduke Pickthall
Endure thou patiently (O Muhammad). Thine endurance is only by (the help of) Allah. Grieve not for them, and be not in distress because of that which they devise.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali
And do thou be patient, for thy patience is but from Allah; nor grieve over them: and distress not thyself because of their plots.
Mufti Taqi Usmani
And be patient. Your patience is bestowed by none but Allah, and do not grieve over them, and do not be in distress for what they devise.

And endure you patiently (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم), your patience is not but from Allâh. And grieve not over them (polytheists and pagans), and be not distressed because of what they plot.
Abul A'la Maududi (Tafhim)
And bear with patience, (O Muhammad) - and your patience is only because of the help of Allah - and do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed by their evil plans.
