Surah Al-Fath — Verse 24

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُم بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ أَنْ أَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا
Wahuwa allathee kaffa aydiyahumAAankum waaydiyakum AAanhum bibatni makkata min baAAdi anathfarakum AAalayhim wakana Allahubima taAAmaloona baseera
Translations of this verse 7
Saheeh International
And it is He who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within [the area of] Makkah after He caused you to overcome them. And ever is Allāh, of what you do, Seeing.

In the valley of Mecca it was He who held their hands back from you and your hands back from them after He gave you the advantage over them––God sees all that you do.
Marmaduke Pickthall
And He it is Who hath withheld men's hands from you, and hath withheld your hands from them, in the valley of Mecca, after He had made you victors over them. Allah is Seer of what ye do.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali
And it is He Who has restrained their hands from you and your hands from them in the midst of Makka, after that He gave you the victory over them. And Allah sees well all that ye do.
Mufti Taqi Usmani
And He is the One who restrained their hands from you and your hands from them in the valley of Makkah after He had let you prevail over them, and Allah is watchful over what you do.
Al-Hilali & Khan
And He it is Who has withheld their hands from you and your hands from them in the midst of Makkah, after He had made you victors over them. And Allâh is Ever the All-Seer of what you do.
Abul A'la Maududi (Tafhim)
He it is Who restrained their hands from you, and your hands from them in the valley of Makkah, even though He had made you victorious against them. Allah was watching all that you did.

قال تعالى: {وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِنْ بَعْدِ أَنْ أَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا (24)} [الفتح: 24].
277 - عَنْ أَنَسٍ -رضي الله عنه- أَنَّ ثَمَانِينَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ، هَبَطُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- وَأَصْحَابِهِ مِنْ جَبَلِ التَّنْعِيمِ، عِنْدَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ، فَأَخَذَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- سِلْمًا، فَعَفَا عَنْهُمْ، وَنَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ: {وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِنْ بَعْدِ أَنْ أَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ}. واللفظ لأحمد ¬أخرجه مسلم برقم: 1808، والترمذي برقم: 3264، وأبو داود برقم: 2688، والنسائي في التفسير برقم: 530، والكبرى برقم: 8667، 11510، وأحمد: 3/ 122، 125، 124، 290 والبيهقي في الدلائل: 4/ 141، والسنن: 6/ 318، والواحدي في الأسباب: ص 399 برقم: 751، وابن جرير: 26/ 94، وزاد عزوه في الدر: 6/ 75 لابن أبي شيبة وعبد بن حميد وابن المنذر وابن مردويه.
