Surah Qaf — Verse 45

نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ
Nahnu aAAlamu bima yaqooloonawama anta AAalayhim bijabbarin fathakkir bilqur-animan yakhafu waAAeed

Saheeh International
We are most knowing of what they say, and you are not over them a tyrant. But remind by the Qur’ān whoever fears My threat.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
We know best what the disbelievers say. You [Prophet] are not there to force them, so remind, with this Quran, those who fear My warning.
Marmaduke Pickthall
We are Best Aware of what they say, and thou (O Muhammad) art in no wise a compeller over them. But warn by the Qur'an him who feareth My threat.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali
We know best what they say; and thou art not one to overawe them by force. So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear My Warning!
Mufti Taqi Usmani
We know well what they say, and you are not (sent) as one who compels them. So exhort, through the Qur’ān, the one who fears My warning.
Al-Hilali & Khan
We know best what they say. And you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are not the one to force them (to Belief). But warn by the Qur’an; him who fears My Threat.
Abul A'la Maududi (Tafhim)
(O Prophet), We are well aware of what they say; and you are not required to force things on them. So exhort with the Qur'an all those who fear My warning.
