Surah Al-Hajj — Verse 19

۞ هَـٰذَانِ خَصْمَانِ ٱخْتَصَمُوا۟ فِى رَبِّهِمْ ۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِيَابٌ مِّن نَّارٍ يُصَبُّ مِن فَوْقِ رُءُوسِهِمُ ٱلْحَمِيمُ
Hathani khasmani ikhtasamoofee rabbihim fallatheena kafaroo quttiAAatlahum thiyabun min narin yusabbu min fawqiruoosihimu alhameem

Saheeh International
These are two adversaries who have disputed over their Lord. But those who disbelieved will have cut out for them garments of fire. Poured upon their heads will be scalding water

قال تعالى: {هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِيَابٌ مِنْ نَارٍ يُصَبُّ مِنْ فَوْقِ رُءُوسِهِمُ الْحَمِيمُ (19)} [الحج: 19].
232 - عَنْ عَلِى بْنِ أَبِى طَالِبٍ -رضي الله عنه- أَنَّهُ قَالَ: أَنَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ يَجْثُو بَيْنَ يَدَي الرَّحْمَنِ لِلْخُصُومَةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَقَالَ قَيْسُ بْنُ عُبَادٍ: وَفِيهِمْ أُنْزِلَتْ: {هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ}، قَالَ: هُمُ الَّذِينَ تَبَارَزُوا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ: حَمْزَةُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَعُبَيْدَةُ، أَوْ أبو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، وَشَيْبَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ وَعُتْبَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ وَالوَلِيدُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ. واللفظ للبخاري ¬أخرجه البخاري برقم: 3965، 3967، 4744، والنسائي في التفسير برقم: 362، والحاكم: 2/ 386، والواحدي في الأسباب: ص 318 برقم: 620، وابن جرير: 17/ 131، والبيهقي في الدلائل: 3/ 73، وزاد عزوه في الدر: 4/ 348 لابن أبي شيبة.¥.
